Not so high on Corey Hart but getting all of the top 4 on the list would be cool. Even 3 of 4. Heck even 2 of 4.

Hart would be a good addition. He could play 1st., Outfield and DH. I would take any or all of the five.

I would add Josh Johnson and Dan Haren as low risk (one year deals) high upside guys. Like Dantes, I'm skeptical about Hart's knees, but it's a good list.

Carlos Beltran, Robinson Cano, Mike Napoly, Matt Garza, Ervin Santana sound better to me but knowing tbis would never be possible or happen, your list is good too

Anything at the corners and starting pitching would be better than we have now.

Santana does have 200+ inning in 3 of the last 4 seasons , but he also has an ERA over 5.0 in 2 of them as well+forfiting a top 45 pick and 15 million per year over 5 years?Im guessing Pohlad says no. Kazmir remove his stats against the AAA twins and they are more in line with what he is...but 2 years at 8-9 million per is a good contract As for PEDs boy , More in line with the Twins is R.Fucal, to provide MI help or Erich Chavez to Platoon with trevor. Instead of Hart, why not trade Doumit and Parmele for Darren Ruf? remember while the Twins will be active in free agency , even the Astros will spend more the skinflint Ryan

Bone yard , I like those 2 M.a.s.h pitchers. but for Me , I want them on 1 yr + an option , if we let them rebuild value with us shouldnt we reap some of the benifit?

Any high upside guys that we can add on 1-yr deals (e.g. Hart, J.Johnson, Peralta) seems like a no-brainer to me. Beyond that, taking a chance on ONE large ($13-17M/yr.), longer-term (5 yrs.) contract for a pitcher (E. Santana, Jimenez, Tanaka) seems necessary. Finally, add a "tweener" like Kazmir, Hughes, Vargas for 2-3 yrs at $8-12M/yr.

SPEND EVERY NICKLE ON STARTING PITCHING.I WOULD BE HAPPY IF THE ONLY 2 SIGNINGS WERE KAZMER AND EARVIN SANTANA.THEY WOULD BE OUR TOP 2 STARTERS RIGHT AWAY.

Corey Hart couldn't hit his weight when healthy. Peralta should take his PED's elsewhere. The Twins staff will have Jiminez "pitching to contact" to negate his 100+mph fastball. Kazmir beat up on the Twins like most other teams but was ordinary otherwise. That leaves the Santana's as options. Earvin for sure and Johan possibly.
