I watched city council president Barb Johnson on KSTP last night blather on about how much this would be an asset to have in downtown. Who is she kidding? I can't imagine a facility like that getting that much use, especially when you have other ones already in existence in other parts of the metro area. Why doesn't the city focus on putting some new development in place of so many of these ugly downtown eyesores known as open surface lots?

being a northside resident, and considering it looks that no public money would be used, its worth looking at. Driving ranges are cash cows, and the nearest indoor one is in BP by FF. My wife and I would go to this one. 10 minutes to it. Yep I'm in. and if they offered lessons, it would be a no-brainer.

Is Bob Lux going to get another $13 million profit on this deal also or do we, the people, own the ramp?
