Ponder at his best is serviceable but may be forever defined by the final play of the game...just falling short. Yeah, that pass was really weak. It just clunked down there like the season, a dud. But AP's touchdown run had me hollering . I think that was one of the best touchdowns I've ever seen.

This loss had nothing to do with Ponder. He played well enough to get us a win. Poor play calling on offense and defense cost us this win, just as some of the defensive players were saying after the game. Basically, the coaches lost this game.

It's ok. Just another "rebuilding" year for the vikes. Just wait til next year... Only 8 more games to go...

Jakein08, yeah sure, lets just ignore Ponders two fumbles and the interception. Those had nothing to do with the Vikings loss, even though one fumble gave Dallas 7 points and the team lost by 4. And the second one cost the team precious seconds off the clock at the end of the game when they needed 5 more yards so Ponder could actually throw the ball into the end zone on his hail mary attempt. Not Ponder's fault? Ponders fumbles and interceptions in games 1 and 2 that cost the Vikings two wins? Not his fault either, right? Ponder was awesome in those games. That's why the team benched him. He was too good? Turnovers KILL football teams. Ponder is a turnover MACHINE.

Why would you make a change? Because your quarterback cannot even throw the ball 50 or 60 yards, that's why. Did he not see that? After he makes that throw, Ponder must have been embarrassed. I cannot think of another quarterback in the league that would not get that ball into the end zone. Ponder was the 12th pick in the draft. We could have had Nick Fairley and Kaepernick, that would have been nice. Where are the Wilf's? Okay, we know what the deer in the headlights Ponder can do. Lets give Freeman a shot so there is a chance to do a real evaluation of his skills.

Why was Ponder left in the game to throw the hail mary when the whole stadium knew he couldnt reach the end zone with that weak arm of his. Cassell has to wondering why in gods name he signed on for this titanic cruise....

When Ponder dropped back 7 yards I said to my buddy, "Man he'll never get that ball into the endzone and he'll end up being about 5 yards short". Check out my psychic abilities. Funny though because the ball was actually right on target to one of our receivers if Ponder's arm was a little stronger. Big "IF". Johnny Manziel. Enough said.

So the Vikings signed Josh Freeman and paid him $3M to sit on the bench and learn the playbook all year before becoming a free agent again? That's genius right there.

Frazier......"we thought", "we thought", "we thought"......."we gotta look at the tape", "gotta look at the tape", "gotta look at the tape". Then he likes to stroke his players with, "we did some good things out there" "the guys are showing improvement", "we're gonna fix things"....perhaps Frazier "should" look at the tape once, then he would see that they aren't doing many good things, they're not showing improvement and they haven't fixed a dang thing. LQQK at the tape Leslie !!!
