I think you should give the defense a little more credit. Maybe a B. Cowboy's offense was rolling over some other teams this year. The Vikes held them down pretty well considering how many backups were in there. Also, special teams did well against a good return man. Patterson had some nice returns. Rookie punter didn't look as bad as usual. I say B. I think Peterson's A would bring Ponder's D+ to an overall C+ for the offense.

Everyday I sign into the Red Star paper and hope to see a headline of Spielman, Frazier FIRED! Wilf in prison with Bernie Maddof. I am a disabled veteran but I will Volunteer to pack up their checkbook and the players billfolds to help them move their sorry butts out of state.

Take a math class Souhan. How can you give an average grade of C+/B- when the team loses? Oh, Right.... a Moral Victory.

They played well enough to win.. but just fell short again. Has to be hard on them to lose several games where they had a good chance to win. 1-7 especially with these injuries, painful to watch these guys. Painful

Poor coaching all the way around-Frazier and Musgrave should be arrested for something endangering the life of their quarterback in the end zone.

Come on, how can you give the coaching a B? Musgrave abandoned the no huddle in the second half, Frazier elected to punt instead of going for it, Musgrave called a pass instead of using Peterson to run off more time. Defensive coach played bend but don't break (let the other team score) strategy, just enough to lose. Coaching should be graded D-.

Defense let the cowboys go pretty much the whole field to win the game. How many times has that happened this year now? I find it funny that people want to pin this loss on Ponder, at least the offense scores some points when hes running the offense, cant say the same for the other qbs. Fact is I hope the team tanks it the rest of the year and drafts a qb, actually just draft all qbs and dbs next year, maybe they can stumble into something that works

1-7 Wow! Nothing about this team deserves any grade higher than a D-.

wazzub...lol...relax its just a game. The nice thing about the NFL is that a bad team can become good in one season. For the latest example check out the Chiefs. By the way, today is the blueprint for the Vikings the rest of the season. Be competitive; and develop the younger talent. Then pick either Mariota (assuming he comes out) or Manziel. My preference is Johnny Football..for further proof he is the real deal check out his game on Saturday. Made all the throws a franchise QB needs to make; and has the cockiness and leadership qualities to boot.
