The foreigners and their advocates have overplayed their hand. There is a point where people get sick of having a subject they have said "no" to shoved in their faces. Illegal aliens have reached that point with Americans. Anything after that is counterproductive. Congress won't pass any new immigration laws because they don't trust Obama to enforce them if they did. He did this himself with DACA and his confessions that he would legalize all foreigners if he thought he could get away with it. CIR is probably out the window until the next administration.

I agree that time is running short. Have them register, pay back taxes and go to the back of the line which is the fair solution for all.

The hardcore right in the House will never, ever, under any circumstances allow any immigration reform bill to the floor. No possible way.

The only immigration reform needed is to enforce the laws that are already on the books. Add a 30 day deadline for illegals to pack up and get back to their home countries and apply to return the legal way. Still here after 30 days...photos, finger prints, DNA sample and booting out of the country permanently with no chance of return. No amnesty, no anchor baby citizenship, no driver's licenses, entitlements...no nothing. Just an invitation to leave an come back the legal way, like millions of others have.

Stop calling it "immigration reform." What the democrats want is amnesty and a fast-track to citizenship. This way they buy 15+ million more votes.

Do you really want immigration reform from the same people who brought us Obamacare? I sure don't. The Democrats want to give amnesty to all comers and then give them free medical care, welfare, food stamps, education, etc until we're broke.

The ONLY reform that is needed is more jail tim and bigger fines for ANY corporation, landlord or city official that makes it possible for these people to live here. Not sure what part of ILLEGAL people don't understand.

The vast majority of Americans do NOT want comprehensive immigration reform or amnesty. So stop the lies. Why would jobless Americans want more competition for limited jobs?? Or have to pay more and higher taxes to support more people (immigrants) on welfare?? Or face more crime?? Or have their wages depressed more than they are now?? Or have more pollution and global warming or climate change?? They don't. Amnesty or citizenship for 11 to 50 million criminal aliens is NOT true or real immigration reform, its a huge giveaway of our country to the Hispanics for political reasons only, and it is wrong, wrong, and wrong. And how can you do background checks on people whose real identities in unknown and will never be known??? You can't. Identity fraud is a huge problem among the illegals. Michele Bachmann is right on this one.
