They are stoppable. Their computers simply need to be unplugged and physically destroyed. New laws to prevent the collection and storage of info can be placed. Congress and The President of The United States can order the police and military to make it so... but they won't... because they approve and permit the oppression of the NSA... They are drunk with the powers over the people which it gives them. Every great society goes through a phase like this... shortly after the apex... it won't be long now. PS: 50% of the American sheeple still think the NSA is making them safer... they are the same sheeple who do not any history prior to their 15th birthday. LOL!!

If this is how the NSA operates now, what will it be up to 10 years from now? We have created a monster.

President Obama did not hire Snowden either - perhaps the government should examine its policy of using outside contractors.

Lets see, hire the worlds best hackers, give them an unlimted budget discourage oversight by lying to the regulators then hire lawyers who can read a loop hole in the 10 commandments to interpret the laws that Congress does pass. Yeah I would say that is about it. What could go wrong with that? I will tell you how you prioritize the NSA, chop their budget by 75%. That is the only thing that works with government, no money. With a 25% budget, all they will get spying on is what they are supposed to be spying on in the first place. They will eliminate the chaff by themselves.

Again, you are all nuts if you think any country that can do what we do, doesnt do it also or would if they could. Snowden should be jailed for the remainder of his life and even his family used as leverage to get him back here to be held accountable. Thank you U.S. for protecting us and keeping us one step ahead of the rest of the world.

One of our founding fathers said that the US would never fall to an enemy from outside. If it falls, it will be to an enemy from within. The fall had started. This is a direct assault by extremists within the government on the freedoms and liberties our nation was created for. The enemy is inside the gates, and can do anything it wants to in secrecy. Thank god for Edward Snowden. A true patriot and hero. Time to fight for freedom again.
