Sorry but, No Heat Heatley has got to go. Dead weight. His brainless penalties could be overlooked if he would score to make up for it, but he doesn't . 3 points in 13 games @ 5M? Figure this, he makes more than Bakstrom and Harding together. Who would you rather have?

Granlund and Pominville...the Finnench Connection!

Great effort by the Wild. This was the first game for the new line combinations but they seemed to work ok. Yeo seemed to tweek them as needed in the late stages of the game. Looking back to the Jacques Lemaire days, the lines were only set for the first shift of the game! Four wins out of the past five games - Go WILD!

Someone might want to contact the Finnish sports writers. Granlund is on his game

Very entertaining game.. Granlund and Pommer are on fire! Nino is quickly becoming one of my favorites too. That kid's got skills. I'm really hoping Pommer can continue his hot streak and make team USA roster for Sochi. Thankfully he has dual citizenship.

If JP's kid doesn't "wratch it up" he'll be joining heater in the press box. Zach...something's wrong and you better fix it.

Lindy, you mean the guy leading the team in scoring needs to sit in the press box?

Love the Pominville-Granlund-Nino line. Can't get enough of it. Damn near breaks my heart, though, to watch two third line guys roll up the ice on an odd man rush, fluid, with possession, hunting for some magic...only to pass the puck to Kyle "Tin Man" Brodziak and have him either stumble over his stick, whiff on the shot, or simply freeze for so long he just runs into the end boards while still trying to make a decision. Good to see Brodin and Ballard back. Very good. However, I'm now to the point where, when I see Koivu and Parise paired up on the ice yet again, I barf a little in my mouth. Hey, Mike! Two seasons, and this line has been dog dung in many ways. Time to break it up...for more than a period or two! Get it?! Get it, Mike?! Let Parise be free from the shackles and let's see what he can do. And get Charlie back in the middle...if he's healthy. You're going to give him TWO periods to proof his worth? Come on, Mike. This team is so weak up the middle (in comparison with other contenders), it can use all the help at center it can find.

As I said before playing Heatley is a wasted roster spot, this coming from someone who likes him, please bring up Zucker for God's sake. Danny was lucky he got hurt last year, the Wild could not drop him because of injury.

@mahtomedi194 Heater actually earns $7.5M. His cap hit is $5M. Haula scored a pair in Des Moines tonight. Six points in seven games. Zucker scored for the second straight game. Phillips got another helper. There's help down there, if the Wild could find the guts to sever ties with guys like Heater and move Brodziak down a line and Konopka out. Does anyone think the young guys aren't playing well up here? Throughout this organization, they're capable and full of energy. That's a hell of a lot more than you can say for Heater, Brodziak, and Konopka.
