TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Former Republican governor-turned Democrat Charlie Crist took the first step Friday toward attempting to reclaim his old job with a new party, paving the way for a bitter contest that will be one of the most watched in the nation.

The Crist/Rubio senatorial contest is a cautionary tale. For whatever they lack in foresight, the tea partiers make up in fervor. They VOTE, and it behooves all who desire a functioning government to get out and vote in 2014.

How ANYONE could possibly hitch their wagon to the party who has brought us the greatest man-made train wreck in the history of this nation is inexplicable. Obamacare virtually assures the Repubs will win the Senate and increase their majority it the House 12 short months from now.
