LAX shooting delays thousands of fliers across the country; nearly 200 flights canceled

Thousands of fliers across the U.S. were delayed after the shooting at Los Angeles International Airport closed parts of the airport. The prolonged shutdown at the nation's third-largest airport was particularly troublesome for those hoping to head to the East Coast or across the Pacific Ocean.

It took the lovely patriots on freerepublic about a minute to claim this was perpetrated by an Obama operative to create an excuse to seize all the guns and distract from the ACA website and Benghazi. Not just freerepublic, either; all over the web and talk radio. From the people who claim they are being persecuted by left-wing extremists.

Yet another shooting in a "Gun Free Zone". LAX has 10,000 people at any given time, all striped down, completely defensless including their nail clippers. Reduced to fish in a barrel. If I was there, I would have squirted shampoo in his eyes! Oh, wait...TSA took that away too... Why don't these kook's go shoot up a gun store?

Meanwhile, and totally unreported by any of the media, thousands of planes took off and landed with hundreds of thousands of passengers with absolutely no problem.
