Dallas’ volatile Dez Bryant proved again last Sunday that NFL sidelines can make for good theater.

Another instance would be Harvin yelling at Frazier last season over Ponder's ineptitude. Instead of upgrading to an NFL-caliber QB, Spielman/Frazier decided to trade a great playmaker for daring to speak what 99% of fans knew to be the truth: Ponder is a weak-armed QB that lacks legitimate NFL decision-making skills and gets most of his yards in garbage time. Perhaps Leslie and Spielman felt they could get away with it due to the media's incessant repetition of the official Vikings line during the off-season that "Ponder really improved over the last 4 games of 2012." Anyone who wasn't beholden to the organization for locker room access could see that Ponder was the same QB over those games - several interceptions were dropped by opposing defenses and most of his yards were on wide open rollouts. Yes, the defense is terrible, but so is Ponder, and the only reason he started the year is the combination of Spielman's ego and the media's complicity in alleviating pressure on the organization for a change.

Just an excuse for selfish, mindless behavior.

I would like to see some passion on the Vikings sideline.
