They should be made to pay for the amount of media coverage they received, do to the fact it was only done as a publicity stunt, aka free political advertising.

Thanks for taking an ethical stance and taking action, Rep. Ellison. More people in power need to step forward and do what's right, and protest what is wrong.

Protesting is legal, and OK. Obstructing is illegal. Why is it OK to do illegal things if the ends justify the means? What else could we do, as long as "the ends justify the means"? This is a scary slippery slope.

This stunt only confirms the reasons why americans should have no faith in their representatives ability to choose the correct, ethical path.

Ellison should have been in Minneapolis protesting the financial burden foisted on his constituents by Mayor Rybak's Viikings' stadium "deal."

So what about immigration were they protesting? We didn't hear about that part, did we? My guess: It had more to do with illegal immigrants than those currently here legally awaiting their citizenship papers! As these Democrats who voted for the ACA sit down in streets for people who are here illegally I'm reminded of the millions of Americans who are losing their health care coverage and those who full-time jobs turned to part-time wages. I don't see any Democrats sitting in the street protesting for THEM!
