Yup, that's your innovative, Terry Ryan-led front office. Instead of bringing in new voices with fresh perspectives, he comes another old guard buddy.

Legacy employees with no acountability, gets to bring in comfort friends to hold there hands while there team nose dive and they wait for there payroll cutting bonuses.....Twins payroll in 2009 was 73 million , in 2013 it ended up around 71 million-7%x5 to bring it down to 47 million in 2009 dollars

Glad to see they are addressing the real needs. Is he a front of the rotation guy?

LMAO...Crash Corrigan is back. Now the twins will be able to cut Dumpster Diving Time in half. You have to admit that Pohlad is willing to pull out all the stops on the way to another 90 loss season.

Well, this won't help the draft. It won't turn the franchise away from pitchers who can't miss bats. I realize it's early in the offseason and player personnel moves have yet to begin, but I view this much like Gardy's extension and the re-signing of Bernier to a minor league deal. It's just more of the same. No signal that anything will change. Keep doing what has brought a 195-294 record in your last 489 played. That way, Terry Ryan can continue to be "happy in [his] job." Yay.

Hopefully, Corrigan can speak Spanish. Twins need to keep their Latin American players.

I was hoping maybe we'd steal someone off the Cardinals, Oakland or Tampa scouting staff. That's where the young prospects are really being found....

Way to go cheesehead! That'll really add some new blood and forward thinking into a dead organization. Is that loyalty or just plain cronyism? The guy is ready for the couch at 63. I'm sure he's filled with get up and go. My god another twinkie blunder.

Corrigan's job will be to find the real "Jim Hoey" that we were supposed to get in trading Gold Glove and All Star shortstop JJ Hardy to Baltimore. Better yet maybe he will replace Billy Smith in whatever they have him doing in the Twins "loyalty" program! No new "fresh" faces this franchise is a mess.
