Greek former foreign minister: Our secret services eavesdropped on 2 US ambassadors' phones

ATHENS, Greece — A former foreign minister of Greece revealed Tuesday that his country's intelligence services had eavesdropped on the phone conversations of U.S. ambassadors to Athens and Ankara in the 1990s.

Because of Snowden it seems everyones pantyhose is in a knot. This Greek foreign minister speaks us. However, how about all of the other "foreign" officials. I would be willing to bet that we are being spied on by many or most. It seems to be what is needed to keep terrorists visible, if possible.

Everybody DOES spy on everybody. That is why the German response to our situation is so absurd. I keep saying this, and I think it is true. Threaten to bring home our boys, close our bases in Europe, and take billions of dollars of business out of Europe and the European leaders will gracefully be quiet. AND life will go on as usual.
