Moore has done an incredible job bringing together various group to make effective change. He has lead groups that are diverse, more than any other organization I have seen before and the # 1 thing I have seen is he has gotten the working class to speak up and stand up for their rights. I would proudly vote for Ty Moore if I lived in his district. Do we really need another candidate who will tow the party line? Another one seeks approval from Small Business Owners than from the workers who are struggling with the wages that haven't increased with inflation. We don't need another candidates who gets big money from realtors.

Wow, the Star Tribune writer totally forgot to mention that 12th ward candidate Chris Lautenschlager that he is on the board of Standish-Ericsson Neighborhood Association (SENA), and Minneapolis Television Network. That takes a lot of diplomacy and working together.

There's a couple of good candidates in the 13th. Too bad only one will win! The United Health Care rep wants "zero waste" taxes sounds good to me! Cam Winton for mayor!!

What does it matter? They'll all be liberals. Just more of the same.

If Moore is elected, it will be interesting to see if he can transition from occupy zealot to public official, whose new duties will include managing the relationship between the banks, occupy groups, and the MPD. Several one issue wonders have come to City Hall over the years and they all quickly figure out that they can either bay at the moon all by themselves, or they can join in becoming good stewards of the City with their colleagues.

Jaymie Kelly and her ilk? I help people save homes every day. And I negotiate deeds-in-lieu, mortgage modifications, etc. Millions of good people up the creek through no fault whatsoever of their own except many were gullible. (See below.) I HATE the rackets these banks pull year-after-year. Like the latest theft: foreclosing, outbidding everyone at sheriff's sale, often collecting the fed or private insurance money for the full unpaid balance on the note, and then selling the house and pocketing the cash to boot with no setoffs to benefit the mortgagor-in-default. A Wall Street triple play! And the homeowner can still be chased by "a debt collector" who buys the pools of notes for pennies on the dollar. HOWEVER when my clients use the old "I've already paid for this house in interest" to moralize their default, that's where I draw the line, Jaymies of the nation. Would you not have to pay rent otherwise? Do you understand what "present value of the dollar" means? Expect a leprechaun to give you the cash to avoid a mortgage? No cash? Don't like mortgages? Then live in a minivan and dine out.If you overpaid for your house, why not demonize the true culprits here who sold this nation the bill of overpriced goods, and fertilized the ground for the flippers who paid them commissions, and who idolized thievery like "80/20 Loans. Who started the mess and who fed them? The Realtors and their crony, book-cooking money sources, and Frank and Dodd themselves, and blame all the race-baiters who screamed "redlining" if anyone tried to question the coming bubble. Vandalize the house in self-pity or for some dumb-assed cause? Get ignorant --truly ignorant-- college kids to protest a foreclosure? Wrong targets! Way too late. Pray to Obama and get out the vote!
