Hurricane-force gusts batter UK, Europe; 13 dead, trees uprooted, travel chaos

LONDON — A savage coastal storm powered by hurricane-force gusts slashed its way through Britain and western Europe on Monday, felling trees, flooding lowlands and snarling traffic in the air, at sea and on land. At least 13 people were reported killed.

Exactly a year ago Sandy was battering the US. Now this in Europe. Coincidence? I think not.

It’s horrible. With the name of hurricane, Sandy hurricane comes to the mind that was the most deadliest and destructive hurricane. Good to know that the damage is less than feared and we pray may it cause minimum damage! DbaiG Bolee.com
