Slowly but surely the coaching staff is starting to turn this program around. I don't know if people realize how hard it is to recruit mid and low level talent then convince the kids they belong. This huge for this program

When did Andre McDonald rejoin the team?

Way to go Gophers!...and go L.A. or San Antonio or London, just go.

This team had a great gameplan and executed beautifully. Nelson looked very good. Get some better receivers and speedier backs and we will compete.Kill clearly has the program on the right track. We need improved recruiting and this game may help.

The variations and tricks in the offense put in by the offensive coordinator could have caused errors, but the Gophers ran the different sets like they had been running them all year. I've played (HS) and watched a lot of football, but I've never seen a better coached game. The players were, with a couple of exceptions, disciplined and played with controlled emotion.

where are all the rubes calling for kill's head now? there is no question this staff can coach. the thing is they are still fairly young and under this program it looks like these 2 and 3 star recruits are developing, looking like 3 and 4 star recruits now. Indiana will be tough next week but penn st is bad and we should win that game. i'll take 7 wins and recruiting will only get better. it takes a lot of time to build a program like the one kill took over but he is doing it the right way.

jtrain: Here I am. I'll call for Kill's firing / resignation. Two wins (including a "signature win") without him being a distraction on the sideline is telling. Get rid of the guy. It has been proven that this team is better off without him than it is with him. What more proof do you need?

Meineke Car Car Muffler and Tailpipe Bowl here we come! Rah!

This was big for the program, and I believe Kill and his staff get the most out of his kids. However, NU is not very good. Yes, they havea lot of talent, but are poorly coached. NU will have trouble winning any more games this year. The Cornhuskers with that talent should beat MN soundly, but leadership is very important in this game.

Keep up the great coverage, Joe! I know it makes a difference to this team and fan base. Thanks for staying objective and professional.
