Burnsville will replace police rifles

Finding the department’s decade-old rifles are past their prime, the city will spend $48,000 to replace all 27 with Colt A-15s that will last longer and are easier to maintain.

I wonder where the old rifles end up after the dealer sells them.

If the NRA had their way, instead of being sold to the supplier of the new rifles, the old weapons would be used to arm the teachers.
