Baby steps. Steal a point tomorrow night and then grab a "w" on Monday.

Rivalry..... Please....... hehehehehehehehe...... St Louis is a rivalry for them....... All I can think of is how the Wild played at the end of last season against Edmonton and Calgary..... Chicago and St Louis don't fall apart like that....... In all fairness Columbus deserved to make the playoffs last year........ This upper management of Fletch and the Uncle Leo need to prove its team can play at a consistently high level working hard like the Blues and the Hawks do, much like DR and Lemaires team did........

Well lets see where they are at...no matter what, it's still early, but it would be nice to see them get some points and continue putting together good games.

I just wanted to be tge first to bring up the Nic Leddy trade, becuase you know someone was going to. They are after all playing the Blackhawks. Question, do you think those that continually bring it up are the same ones saying the Preds fans should get over Suter?

Was wondering why you would start an admittedly not 100% Backstrom, that has had an average training camp then gave up eight goals in his two pre-injury games against one of the top teams in the league. Hope that Backstrom can step up, find his game and get a win out of tonights game. Go Wild.

Always great hockey info in these columns but- not sure the words Blackhawks, Wild and rivalry really belong in the same sentence ... in rivalries BOTH clubs have to win once in a while and be competitive with each other! Maybe Wild can rival with Nashvl and Winne?

As I appreciate the new divisional format, this is in no way in comparison to the rivalry as it was with the NorthStars and Hawks at Met Center or Chicago stadium {old venue for Chi}. I know the times and the game has changed dramatically but the eighties and 1990-91 were ELECTRIC. The game started {fisticuffs, name bashing etc.} before the opening faceoff, sometimes and there was genuine passion by both teams, the fans {Secord sucks-Ciccerelli-sucks,type} announcers { Al "close" Shaver, Dan Stoneking, Steve Cannon and Chi. announcers} telling it like it was, no pulling punches. Very, very personal and almost impossible ticket to get at either venue. You REALLY got your monies worth during this era.
