I guess this is what Obama meant when he said he would push the re-set button. Who's the guy who is hurting America's reputation around the world? Time for Obama to go away.

The germans and french have refused for decades to participate in IC activities, even when the US fully funded. Now it appears they are singing a different tune. There are solid reasons why there is a FIVE EYES agreement.

As the global power of the US petro-dollar wanes, lots of countries will find it less worthwhile to just put up with whatever the US does. Now that Russia and China have arm-twisted the US into not attacking Syria or Iran, and China is now the #1 oil importer in the world, the Saudi regime is realigning toward China, and taking verbal shots at the US that would have been unimaginable 10 years ago. The days of our allies just being puppets is over.

The French have long used their intelligence agencies to spy on the US. This has been reported numerous times in the past 2 decades, most recently in the NYT. All done to steal industrial/tech secrets. I doubt Germany are little angels either. I think it be great fun for NSA to release the details of other country's spying as well. China is nearly as good at spying as the US, yet the Euros lick their boots. Go it alone EU, finish the collapse that is already dragging down your rotten economy and people's paradise. Having said all this, the sooner we put the brakes on the NSA, the better.

Right. The Germans and the French are crying that they were spied on. Like they don't have their own spy agencies. Does anyone really think that Germany and France wouldn't love to bug Obama's cell phone? Oh wait, Obama isn't stupid enough to use a cell phone.
