Maryland lawmaker gets 60 days in jail for drunken driving, boating crash that injured 7

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A judge Friday sentenced a Maryland lawmaker to 60 days in jail — on weekends if he chooses — for drunkenly operating a boat in a river crash that injured seven, and for, almost exactly a year later, driving a car while impaired.

So, "one of the most conservative lawmakers in the Maryland General Assembly" gets a slap on the wrist. I wonder what kind of justice he would pass down to a young man without connections with the same charges. Hipocrocy!!!

Another conservative aka man of family values. His behavior shows that in his view personal responsibility is the personal responsibility of others!! Then he gets weekend duty at the jail and probation!!!?? Still he believes he can serve as a legislative leader and role model!!?

"David Campbell, the children's father, said he believed Dwyer should serve the sentence on 60 straight days. "Weekends is kind of a slap on the wrist," Campbell said." I totally agree. Two incidents almost exactly one year apart is at least one too many.
