While everyone is wondering what is wrong with the Vikings,it's pretty simple. Since 1992 (21 years), the Packers have had TWO QB's, Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. The Vikings have had : Rich Gannon, Sean Salisbury, Jim McMahon, Warren Moon, Brad Johnson, Randall Cunningham, Jeff George, Daunte Culpepper, Todd Bouman, Spergon Wynn, Gus Frerotte, Brad Johnson (again), Tarvaris Jackson, Kelly Holcomb, Brooks Bollinger, Gus Frerotte (again), Tarvaris Jackson, Brett Favre, Joe Webb, Donovan McNabb, Christian Ponder, Matt Cassel, Josh Freeman, and Christian Ponder (again). That pretty much sums up the state of this franchise for the past 21 years.

First Ponder, now Peterson... weird. Other teams announce injuries as they occur; ours are only disclosed AFTER a series of poor performances.

Adrian's hands are just as slippery as ever. Mr. Fumble.

Having a good QB would be a start, but unless the QB excells at cornerback as well, it's not going to solve the real problem. The main issue is the D. With Carolina's defense, for example, the team would be able to get off the field and close out games. The record would be 5-1, not 1-5.

Please trade AP ASAP so the guy won't get killed here.

I don't think it is possible to hamper AP mentally.

Bla, bla, bla..... Just last season we heard how a sports hernia didn't even slow down Peterson who performed better than ever before... Now a slightly tight hamstring has rendered him shiftless... I'm starting to think 2012 = the year of the PED for Mr AP.

“It got out of whack there,” offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave said. Oh, no problem. Don't worry about it. We're all just glad you figured it out on Friday, four days after the game. Hopefully by next Thursday you'll figure out what you did wrong in the Sunday night game.

From another news source, This was on the news this am !! Vikings football practice was delayed nearly two hours this morning after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Head coach, Leslie Frazier, immediately suspended practice while police and federal agents were called to investigate. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line. Practice was resumed today after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.
