Texas high school coach Tim Buchanan benched his starters after only 21 plays, kept to a conservative ground game and even allowed the clock to run uninterrupted after halftime to hasten the final whistle. Still, his Bearcats won 91-0.

A very good example of the current state of shallow mentality in this country. Your team gets shellacked 91 - 0 and you file a legal complaint against the winning coach? What about the losing team? What about the losing coach? Did these people abandon their roles? The team and coach should be fired!! I'd file a complaint against them for fraud! They cannot possibly be a a football team with a coach!

Not everyone can win! Not everyone gets a trophy! This culture that is being created that "everyone is a winner" and "we don't keep score" is not healthy for developing kid into a competitive adult.

Maybe the parent would have been happier if they declared all players are winners and they went and had pizza. Maybe the losing coach should have forfeited. He pulled his starters after 21 plays, perhaps the parent's kid's team just really, REALLY stink.

The definition of "bullying" has been extended much farther than previously understood(to include "cyber bullying"). This looks like a slam dunk to me. There's a fair chance this coach goes to jail.

One of the reasons I will never have children is so that I never have to deal with other children's parents.

And in a related story Leslie Frazier's parents have filed a bullying complaint against Tom Coughlin of the New York Giants...

Bullying? Come on. Get real. The coach took his starter out, the game went into running time, not much else he could do. If this complaint gets any legs at all we are done as a society.

This isn't bullying, it's simply a case of cheap-shot sportsmanship by a "winning" coach. If only for the safety of his own players, the losing coach should have pulled his boys off the field at 60 points, then clocked the opposing jerk.

Maybe the losing team would have a fighting chance to win if they played the Minnesota Vikings.

just seems silly. the h.s. rules should just demand a forfiet after [maybe?] 61-0 ? or? ; maybe after a few concussions and spinal injuries. did not happen here, but it has. what was the point of continuing ? ask texas. they must feed the university and nfl teams more than they feed their own citizens. cruz on texas; and collect more fed. $ than you pay in.
