This has the makings of a good game at TCF. The Gophers running game will certainly give the NU defense a test. If the NU offense is not running on all cylinders with the loss of OL Spencer Long and possibly Martinez, look for a close game.

Could be a break for the Gophers two weeks in a row. May be just what we need to pull off an upset. And this would be a big one. NWern is NOT Nebraska. Go Gophs.

lol @ "Could be a break for the Gophers two weeks in a row." Well, that is the only way they have won a Big 10 game in years--the other team decimated by injuries and/or down after a critical loss the week b4 while the goofs had a bye.

rahrah -- Injuries are a part of the game. Deal with it. The main thing is, the Gophs took advantage of the situation. But thank you for your interest in Golden Gophers football!!!!!!

Who said they [injures] weren't "part of the game?" I didn't. I said they are the REASON the goofs fluked out a win over a terrible Northwestern team.

Tell me when the last time was that this outfit defeated a Big 10 team that was hitting on all cylinders at the time? HINT: Brewster and Kill never managed to get it done.
