Minnesota couple accused of starving, neglecting adopted son enter plea

MINNEAPOLIS — A southern Minnesota couple accused of starving their adopted son to the point that authorities said his bones were protruding reached a plea agreement with prosecutors Monday.

What? 60 days? Is this state totally callous and cruel? 60 days for the suffering they caused for their son. The prosecutor who agreed to this should be removed from office. The prosecutor is as bad as the parents. This is a shame and a disgrace and a terrible injustice. The prosecutor is shameful beyond words and an embarrassment to all of Minnesota.

60 days in jail? That is ridiculous. I don't see this as anything less than attempted murder. Seriously? And what happens to the child?
