Well, we know this can't happen in health care with Obama at the helm. Obama said he would go over every line item in the budget and cut costs and watch expenses. All hail Obama.

True. Obama and the new health care program will be administered properly as said. But, the now bloated military budget, due to the occupations of other countries, is extremely hard to cut down because you're either labeled a money-waster or a non-patriot (ie the simplest catch-22 ever which is why Bachmann used it all the time).

Hey supervon2, I'm not seeing the link. The article is about a bribery scandal that started during Reagan's presidency and continued until it was uncovered during Obama's presidency.

Pretty unrelated to Obama, however trying to talk about government bloat in a story about military misconduct and overspending is laughable, the conservatives are the ones that refuse to consider cuts to the massively bloated military. I have family in military and hear constantly how unbelievably inefficient and without oversight they are.

I'm surprised this was uncovered. The Dept. of Defense has never been able to complete a successful audit, makes you wonder how many more skeletons are in the closet.
