S&P 500 stock index closes at all-time high a day after Washington reaches debt deal

NEW YORK — The stock market is closing at an all-time high a day after Washington reached a deal to avoid a U.S. default.

Strange that the S&P 500 (large companies) and Russel 2000 (small companies) both hit their all-time highs, yet the NASDAQ index remains nearly 25% below its all-time high more than 13 1/2 years ago. I guess more than anything this illustrates the extent to which tech stocks reached "bubblic" proportions back then. The question now is, is the broader market becoming overvalued and is overdue for a correction?
