MUSTANG, Okla. — One man lies on his stomach on the driveway. Blood is splattered along the garage door that smashed his head and presumably killed him. Another man lies a few feet away, run over by a truck.

The 911 call was indeed ridiculous, partially because folks these days are overly-conditioned to call "the authorities" for anything and everything. Sheesh, get out and check, first! And good grief, it's Halloween, get a clue! Folks in Oka. must fall for all the April Fools jokes, too. But what especially cracks me up are all the sanctimonious religionists who are giving the family grief for being devil-worshipers or whatever. The way these 'good Christians' behave, the next grisly scenario in the family's yard will be them being burned at the stake for witchcraft or some other nonsense.

I saw the pictures (which are lacking from this article), and it's pretty obvious this was not real given all the other decorations.

I don't get the whole thing, actually. Why do any of it.

I find it interesting the guy was "unable to work" yet has the wherewithal to build this elaborate display, which probably involved much more labor than his job.

I saw the pictures and they looked pretty real to me. Kind of thing that would give my kids nightmares if they lived near this family.

Good grief. Do they not realize that the newer garage doors have a sensor that would not even let the garage door come down that close to even do that to a person. Get real people.

Garage door sensors won't help if the garage door spring breaks. Having had a spring break when the door was closing, I can attest that it slams down with great force. There is a reason why everyone should stay away from a moving garage door - it can be deadly.
