NBA refs whistling more while they work

Officials are preparing to call more fouls to crack down on rules players often ignore or defy.

How about adding another point of emphasis - being consistent in calls and not favoring star players. If refs start calling travels according to the rules, there will be lots of complaining.....but LONG overdue.

How about calling fouls when Love or Pek get mugged every time they attempt a shot around the basket? I swear the refs could call twice as many fouls as they do for Love and Pek.

sid and mano u r both correct...my vote is for josh howard if he is healty...he is familiar with the team offense and got a tough break last year..he earned another shot.
