It's so not cool for a good word to be overused

‘Cool’ once had a singular connotation — indifference — but we’ve diluted it beyond recognition.

Well I am especially, though not uniquely, qualified to comment on this topic, if I must say so myself. I expect my brothers and my cousins will concur. Back in the early 90s, we floated a trial balloon about changing the name to 'kuhlmyn,' but we could never get a quorum.
