Tom Emmer has proven over and over again that he is terrible with money. He severely botched his last campaign and had real trouble paying off his debts. It is a wonder to me that anyone is still giving him donations. You might as well just wire your money to a Nigerian e-mail scam -- it will disappear just as quick, and you will get nothing back.

I wonder if the Democrats, who have been denying in recent days that they hate business, and that Minnesota is indeed open for business, will punish Target again if they donate some money to Emmer.

"I wonder if the Democrats ... will punish Target again if they donate some money to Emmer."

Having in mind the old adage "A fool and his money are soon parted," often times stupidity should be, and is, punished.

I love the idea that Michelle Bachmann, the conservative female most hated by the left, will be replace by Tom Emmer, the conservative male most hated by the Left. And there's not a dang thing you can do about it.

I would certainly hope that voters in the 6th district consider how embarrassing Bachmann's 4 terms have been and vote for someone who would be better than her and not worse. Of course, this will never happen.

There are certainly MUCH better choices from either party for the 6th district. Emmer single-handedly cost the republicans the Governorship and represents all that is bad about politicians today. Be patient and select someone that can actually be worthy of your vote.

If you think Bachmann was bad for Minnesota in congress, Emmer will be even worse!!

Oh, I don't think you have to be on the left to hate them, moreover, who said Emmer was replacing Bachmann? The current Tea Party-led default debacle in Congress will probably be just the medicine required for 6th district voters to question the political wisdom of putting another bungling extremist in office. After all, if Emmer has made anything clear, it's that he's only too happy to play dancing monkey to the tea party looney tune. Good luck selling that to voters in 2014.

Kill the patient to save it. That is the adage Bachmann And Emmer are guided by.

Pathetic. You could put an R after anyone's name and get them elected in the 6th.
