Vikings have four areas to fix — and they must do it quickly

Sunday's blowout loss to Carolina dropped the Vikings to 1-4, and a sense of urgency hit Winter Park. "When you lose, heads roll,'' Jared Allen said.

Lets be honest, the Vikings have more than 4 things to fix. It has to start with the Coach. Coach Frazier deserves a lot of credit for leading the team into the play-offs last year. That was a surprise. However, this season the team is a complete disaster with no real hope for things to improve. Take a look at the K.C. Chiefs for dramatic results with the change of the Head Coach and QB. Let the fire sale start. I bet Jared Allen is hoping to get traded to a contender ASAP. Can't blame him. I'm hoping to get traded to a contender ASAP also.

Side note, Josh Robinson should be on the field with the airport flashlights guiding all the WR's into the end zone. He's in every highlight reel...following the opponent into the end zone.

From defrauding business partners to defrauding customers. Can't even pretend this is a professional football team/organization anymore.

I thought these things were fixed in the off season and or during training camp!!! It's far too late to fix them now, this club is headed for a several more embarrassing losses in the weeks to come. This club is years away from being competitive, time to clean house!!!

Wow, 49.3% on 3rd down, when I watch the game I'd take a coin flip because it seems like there is never a stop. More like how did that guy get so wide open?

Duhh, Of course the Vikings have 4 areas they need to fix and it's really quite simple. 1. The coaching staff needs to be replaced. 2. The offense needs to be replaced. 3. The defense needs to be replaced. 4. The special teams needs to be replaced. Simple...

How would you propose to fix any of the four? Ponder, Cassell, and Freeman are not the answers. Do we have a 4th quarterback in hiding? The O line is no better than average. Who knows if we have good receivers as there is nobody to throw to them and that nobody is usually under pressure. The secondary has holes everywhere coupled with lousy coverage from poor linebackers. Allen and Williams are aging and aged, respectively. Nobody else is better than journeyman quality. Put it all together with below average coaching and hugely predictable schemes and it looks like 3-13. By the way, as Spielman assembled this mess of a team with gaps and holes at almost every position, why is he getting a free pass? Time to trade AP for picks and cap room to start rebuilding. He will be 30 in 2 years. Nobody in the history of the NFL has built a playoff team around a 30 year old RB.

Main problem is our coaching staff and defense. ONLY way there is a possibility to win a game if our offense play like Broncos or Saints.

Dear Zygi Wilf: I hope you are enjoyin the New Jersey Fall weather, I hear it is really nice there this time of year. Secondly, we urge you to extend the contracts of Head Coach Leslie Frazier and General Manager Rick Spielman. Since they have been with your organization the NFC North Division has become less far competitive due to the fact that we no longer have to worry about the vikings being able to compete for the Division title which makes our lives easier. Again, please sign both of these individuals to long-tem contract extensions after this season, we will even help subsidize their signing bonuses. Signed - The Bears, Lions and Packers.

The first thing that needs to happen is to show Leslie Frazier the door... Get someone into the coaching position that can light a bonfire under some butts. They play like a bunch of zombies with no motivation...Look at the difference in the way they play compared to the better teams..Night and Day.
