Opponents’ shots are down under Mike Yeo’s system, which starts with offensive-zone pressure.

take your time getting back Niklas -- the Wild are doing fine without you- worst decision Fletcher made was bringing Backstrom back for THREE years !!!! this decision will be the one that costs Fletcher his job- that and not either trading Koivu or taking the C away from the over-paid, under-achiever ...

Yes, but where is the offense? We expect all these scorers to put more pucks in the net.

Winnipeg is bad. You should have seen their game against Dallas last night. Terrible. Like against the Wild, the Jets did a lot of standing around. The Wild will need to learn to beat teams that skate, forecheck, give you no time on the ice. That's what Anaheim did, LA does, Dallas will do. The Blues and Blackhawks come hard too. We couldn't even beat Nashville, who skate hard but have no talent. If the Wild can't figure a way to beat consistent, hard-working teams, then we're possibly looking in at playoffs from outside by 3 points at the end of the season. Figure out how to compete against top-flight teams, and we go all the way! Let's go Wild!!

2.5 goals allowed on 22 shots, per game! That tells you where we are lacking. As long as Harding continues to do well and feel good, they better stick with him because Backstrom isn't playing his best. I still feel good though that the Wild issues are coming now and not at the end of the year. GO WILD! IA & MN!

Suter does have iron lungs. Rarely is he hunched over catching his breath or breathing heavily while on the bench. The guy's a machine. The most tired I've seen him is breathing from his mouth, but again, not hunched over.

No one questioned their defense. Offense has been an issue since Y2K. Also, SOG's are simply the most overrated stat in all of hockey. Check out the box scores daily and the team that wins the SOG battle loses about 50% of the time. They need finishers around the net and right now other teams have more of them then we do. Winnipeg is awful. I see a real battle to finish in the top 8 in the West again this year.

Michael-- how about addressing the real concerns of this team (head coach, lack of offense, stud on the blue-line) instead of a puff piece on how SOG's are down thru 4 games? TMI as usual. I don't need to know more about the 24 guys in the room, than I do my own family. Did Nino forget his toothbrush at the hotel? Or Heater have ham and eggs for brunch today?
