The Little Canada firm has acquired Nanostim, maker of the world’s first “leadless” pacemaker, in a $123.5 million deal.

Finally, technology that satisfies the need for a better pacemaker. Look for this version in 2024 when the FDA accepts the long-term data from the randomized patient trial of 10,000+ patients. Starks finally pulled the plug from the internal R&D effort and consummated the deal they have been funding since 2009. The VC's get richer and the SJM sharesholders scratch their heads.
