Duluth library to begin lending fruit, veggie seeds; gardeners can plant them, return new ones

DULUTH, Minn. — Gardeners who want to plant heirloom fruit and vegetable plants will soon be able to get free seeds from the Duluth Public Library.

Trust me - there are no such things as "free seeds." The fully-burdened cost of seeds given away by a municipal library costs Duluth taxpayers 10x more than buying them yourself.
