Chick-fil-A, one of the country’s fastest-growing fast-food chains, has attracted dozens of Minnesotans to camp out for a chicken sandwich giveaway as it prepares to open its first stand-alone stores in the state.

The location of the Maple Grove one is terrible with the layout of the roads. I suggest people avoid it this weekend, because it's always a madhouse there with people going to the other buisnesses like Costco.

Sounds like the same hype that preceded the opening of Krispy Kremes. Are there any Krispy Kremes left in the Twin Cities?

I'll be doing an office run there tomorrow for lunch. We're all ecstatic that "good" fast food chicken has finally arrived in MN. Chick-fil-A is one of the places I miss the most from my time spent living in Cincinnati (they can keep their Cincinnati Chili).

Why would anyone wait more than 5 minutes for a free sandwich from a fast food restaurant? While I don't eat fast food that ofter, I never waste my time in line for a free meal worth $5-7 dollars.

raineyroo It's for 52 free meals. At $7 each that's $364. I guess if you don't have anything else going on...

Chick-fil-A was virtually unknown in MN until the ill-advised Gay boycott last year. Without their help, Chic-fil-A would probably still be little known here. Thanks LGBT.

24 hours outside for $364 of mediocre-at-best food from a "restaurant" with discriminatory agendas? People never cease to amaze me...

The Chick is well known to all of us that actually cross the border every once in a while. Maybe next we can get a Kroll's here too!

I'll give CFA my business because I agree with the CEO's position.
