Ziggy will profit handsomely and most Minnesota working taxpayers won't be able to even afford a ticket.

It should have been in Anoka County

Holy cow. Just got done watching Frontline's report on brain injuries in professional and even high school players. The most disgusting part is the behavior of the NFL brass over the last couple decades. Having heard over the last six months that the NFL is on the decline I was in complete disbelief that such a thing could happen. Now after that program I'm not so sure there isn't a lot of truth to that concern. Does this proposed stadium have a future? If there is a major decline in interest and in players do to those brain injuries, is it worth building, or maybe we should just keep using the good ol' dome? Tain't worth it folks. Scary stuff.

Yeah, but the NFL wouldn't sell many tickets if their venues had truthful names like Debilitating Brain Injury Stadium, or Offensive Racial Stereotype In The Twenty-First Century Field...

wonder how i will feel when i walk into this billion dollar stadium? will i have a sense of awe at the magnificent palace and wonder who built this thing? or better yet, who paid for it?

This is bait from the NFL to distract us. The Skol Bandits are being given a fortune by one of the most gutless governors in Minnesota history.

Lots of extreme taxes and fees to impose on an event like this. The public impact tax alone on everything associated with licensing and attending should be 50% at least.

Page 63 of the new stadium contract details how Minnesotans will be forced to work all Superbowl-related jobs at no cost to the Wilfs. Page 64 contains the fee schedule for how much we'll each pay for the privilege of working for Zygi.

This will be news when they lock it down. Very exciting to think about the game being here, but lets celebrate once its set.

State Portion? Event Impact Fee legislated for every event held here including NFL events: 50% of reciepts. You use it, you pay for it. Touching the general fund would be theft.
