BUENOS AIRES, Argentina — Before doctors drilled through President Cristina Fernandez's skull Tuesday to remove a blood clot pressuring her brain, her vice president sought to reassure Argentines they have no reason to be alarmed. Yet the government is facing a number of challenges, and many people are worried by the country's dominant political force being sidelined.
