PHILADELPHIA — On the first day of training camp, the Philadelphia Flyers were already a mess.

Umm, perhaps Fletcher should give mr. Laviolette a jingle. I, for one, would encourage it. Yeo's gotta go!!!!

I am with you goalieguru. AWESOME coach! 2006 stanley cup champ, 2010 cup finals losing to chicago in 6 or 7. The Flyers trade away Bob (goes on to win vezina) and a bunch of other assets, then fire the coach 3 games into a season. LOL! Flyers org is a mess. Would absolutely love to see Laviolette on the Wild bench. Never happen tho.

Well, let's see what happens if the Wild can't pull out a win within the next week. The firing of one coach after losing three straight games might be a wake-up call for owners and GMs alike. Will it happen here in MN? Doubt it, the Wild owner doesn't have the fortitude to get rid of either the GM or Yeo. I mean who makes the decisions to hire rookie coaches when coaches like Ken Hitchcock were out for the taking? We need experience coaching when coaching the young talent the Wild have. NOT trying to develop a young coach to coach young talent. . . . . just doesn’t make any sense.

I'm not typing that Yeo has to go this afternoon, but if the team continues to not put up consistent "W's", i could absolutely see ownership making a move sooner rather than later. Two things: does anybody truly believe that Leipold isn't in it to win, considering the $$$ he has shelled out the last couple of years. And two, there was a reason Yeo wasn't given an extension this past summer.

I hope Mr Fletcher has Laviolette's number on speed dial.

I would say more of the blame should be on the GM and not Laviolette
