"Safety inspections of planes, pilots and aircraft repair stations by government workers have ceased." Really they aren't essential!???

Note that tens of thousands of people in the military have been forced to drop out of college in the middle of the semester because of this totally pointless shutdown. They were promised support, and Republicans in Congress have broken that promise.

My son is in the army in Afghanistan, and the congress had to pass a special bill for him to get paid because of the shut-down. What a disgrace from our government. My son is putting his life on the line for people in another country, and this is the way he is treated by his own govenment. No words can express my outrage!!!!!
