BOSTON — David Ortiz homered twice, the second shot chasing David Price in the eighth inning on Saturday night, and the Boston Red Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays 7-4 to take a 2-0 lead in the AL division series.

watching Ortiz pointing at the sky must mean God is a Red Sox fan,no wonder they stopped calling themselves the Devil Rays! Any player in any sport should be thrown out of the game for this gesture because if it was sincere they would say "thank you" under their breath" don't flaunt it.

David Ortiz's superstar play in Boston (for how many years now?) epitomizes the ineptitude of the Twins organization. The Twins can't keep the the talent nor do they know how to develop it. This goes all the way back to the Larry Hisle, Lyman Bostock, and Rod Carew and that era's bumbling fool of an owner Calvin Griffith. It will never change, folks. Consider yourselves lucky we won the world series twice. Even a blind squirel finds a nut once in awhile. Truly, however, that feat happened for one reason only: Andy MacPhail
