Curiosity has in fact found evidence of extinct life on Mars, however,it has yet to be reported. In February of 2013 The MastCams onboard Curiosity captured several images of the mummified and fossilized remains of a raptor on top of the bedrock in Yellowknife Bay. I submitted a 17 page report on this discovery to JPL/NASA and the Curiosity team on April 29, 2013. If you would like a copy of the report it is emailable. Mike
