Former archdiocese official says church leaders refused to take action when she found porn

ST. PAUL, Minn. — A former canon lawyer with the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis says the final straw in her quitting was when officials refused to take action when she discovered pornography on CDs in chancery files on a priest who was up for promotion.

It appears that the Diocese has covered up this entire mess top to bottom. Pope Francis should fire Archbishop Neistadt and put a new Archbishop in place who will clean house. It is unfortunate that the Catholic Church does not put a fraction of the same time, energy and money into uncovering and removing abusive priests as it does fighting gay couples. The Catholic Church has its priorities completely reversed. Protecting abusive priests, while fighting loving gay couples.
