The poll said the majority of Tea Partiers support shutting down government over differences about the ACA. One can admire their fervor, but certainly not their capacity to grasp deeper issues.

. badgerfan2Oct. 3, 13 9:17 PM We need to destroy the Republican Party and everything it stands for**********************************The regressives did that to themselves already. and the end of the regressives is good for the country. Moderate conservatives will come back with what thew republican party was in the past but the name will be tainted so bad that their best hope is to dump whats left and come back as something more compatible with this nation, They will still get most of their voters by the big lie of wrapping themselves in the bible and the American flag.

Did the poll ask if the people would accept a CR that defunded ObamaCare for a year but funded the rest of the government?

These funding resolutions must NOT have ideological strings attached, no matter which party is attaching them. I think a lot of us are sick and tired of the hostage taking/ransom approach to governing.

We need to destroy the Republican Party and everything it stands for. - Like it or not, we DO need at least two parties in this country. We need to buck up and fire those from both parties who are out only for themselves. Enough of this garbage 'true to the party' people.
