Minnesota WIC program to continue

The USDA will provide additional funding during the federal shutdown, which will allow the program to continue for at least a few more weeks, state officials said.

Not one entitlement has been stopped because of the furlough of non-essential employees. The government is anything but shut down.

In this country people who work for a living are being overwhelmed by people who vote for a living.

Something is very wrong here- are you saying HALF of babies born rely on WIC? That is nothing to be proud of. No wonder the government is broke. Cradle to grave for too many.

Well put Truckman, half the babies born today or tomorrow are going to need to be supported by me, not their parents. I really think the wrong people are having babies.
