Ryan doesn't sound as if he will be changing coaches

Apart from the manager, Terry Ryan has to make decisions about the Twins coaching staff, too. And in describing the criteria he would use to evaluate Ron Gardenhire’s six on-field coaches, the Twins general manager sounded disinclined to replace them.

The coaches mirror management and owners. With a full stadium why change anything?

If you keep Gardenhire, please require that he tell the truth about things when asked, and that he gets rid of the same tired old lines and clichés he uses, in every interview. And send him somewhere before Spring Training, where he can be taught to take accountability for his part in these woeful last three years and learn from them, so they're not repeated.

The 2.5 million did not include myself or any of my clients. After last year and no attempt at improving the team, we gave up the season tickets because no one wanted to go watch a minor league team play major league teams.

Twins didn't collect one thin dime from me this season and won't again next season. Giving up my season tickets this year was a very wise decision.

last paragraph of this says it all... until people stop coming to games, nothing will change... I am disgusted by this, not saying Gardy hits and pitches, but he's had his time; proved he is nothing more than mediocre w a good team and more than lousy with a bad team...

If they do not get rid of Gardenhire and Anderson I will never go to a Twins game again.

For those that are frustrated that almost 2.5 million people showed up to watch the Twins look like a joke, please don't worry. Those number are exaggerated by no less than 25 percent. For instance, I went on Thursday with tickets given to me from work. The announced attendance was 25k. If you told me there were 15k people there, I would've called you a liar.

gimp77Sep. 30, 1312:29 PM

"Announced attendance" does not mean people in seats. Very frustrating. The gap between these 2 numbers should be getting much closer soon. Please replace Rick Anderson. Bye the way if Terry Ryan isn't replaced-please watch a interesting little film called "Moneyball."
