Brain activity found after 'brain death'

The findings suggest that the brain can survive a deep coma and may revive debate over the criteria for declaring a person “brain-dead.”

"Anecdotes of near-death imagery have varied by culture and changed significantly over time and correlate with the teller’s religious iconography, skeptics note." I've wondered about that. Do non-Christians still meet Jesus or angels, or would they meet their own deities? And what would such differences do to their validity as evidence of life after death?
