MARSHALL, Minn. — A man convicted along with his father of killing two bankers in 1983 on a southwestern Minnesota farm said he's remorseful for the two lives he took and the families he destroyed.

I remember this. Very sad, but I guess I believe Anderson's remorse and support his chance to live the rest of his life outside of prison. One question: what happened to his father?

Steven Anderson may now be remoresful, but Rudy Blythe and Deems Thulin are still still dead. The focus of the story should have been on what their families have had to deal with the past 30 years. I have no empathy for Steven Anderson.

maybe another 20 years should do it. pretty sure the grandkids miss the Grandpa they never got to meet....
