Wild lose preseason finale in St. Louis; last roster cut coming

With the exhibition season over now the question for the Wild is who will make the final lineup for Thursday’s opener.

Don't want to have too many third periods like that. It could be a long season if they do.

Fletcher did nothing to improve the team and it will show. He has had enough time to build this team into a stanley cup contender. If this team does not go deep into the playoffs this year, I hope Leipold finds a new GM that can. It is all about results, not excuses.

Looking at the box score, the Wild had 7, 5 and 7 shots in goal. Outshot badly again. For years scoring has been an issue. I really hope it is not going to be the same darn thing yet again. Seem the Wild and the Vikings have the same issues with their General Manager. Known issues and holes yet they are neglected. The Vikings already have me in a bad mood. I have high hopes for the Wild but looking at their roster....where is the scoring going to come from. No more than 7 shots on goal per period in the final preseason game is not very good.
