No need to fear. The price of chicken wings is sure to fall back down again as peole try McDonalds wings. They are not good and anybody who likes wings will stay away from them.

It's not a good fast food model...people don't want bones, they like something in a wrapper or container that can be tossed on the floor of the car. Just saying.

Good for the poultry processors. They have been taking things on the chin since the ethanol debacle drove corn prices through the roof...nice to see a little competition helping out those in the supply chain. Competition is always good.

As if the BWW wings have any flavor, other than the sauce which hides any possible chicken flavor a diner wishes to experience. You can pour the sauce over the waxed paper or a piece of napkin and have the same experience. When friends insist we hit BWW, I have learned to order something else from the menu. Wings should be their signature offering (as far as taste goes, not as far as name or advertising), but they offer very little variety. Yet beer and game day enthusiasm seems to surmount this problem.

When I was a kid on the farm chicken in a restaurant was treat and kind of expensive because they were not raising broilers in the huge barns (this was before they were pumping antibiotics into the food so that they could raise 10's of thousands of birds in factory operations with low wage workers). We basically ate plate size Holstein steaks. The rise in chicken prices will support the poultry industry and maybe even the smaller organic operations. I'm not to concerned about the cost of my wings.

What? You mean rising prices are not as a result of the increase in taxes? How are the republicans going to blame this on Democrats now?

Was going to try these the other day until I saw the prices. WOW! No thank you.

It is almost comical that we are going nuts over the part of a chicken that has the least meat, is the boniest, and the messiest of any of the 4 standard pieces. Where are those genetic engineers when you need them? We need a 6 winged chicken now! Bill G.
