So a 150lb man was mistaken as a 1/2 lb squirrel? Something's wrong with the shooter that life in prison will cure.

I remember deer hunting in 1995 Sitting in a tree stand watching a car load of four footers exit with rifles and shoot at anything moving, song birds, squirrels tree branches. Last time I dared to hunt. Fools!

50 yards? From 50 yards away (half the length of a football field) the guy thought he saw a squirrel move? 50 feet maybe. Somewhere along the story transmission line some wires got crossed. Otherwise...incredible.

"thought he saw movement and fired" - This has to be the most irresponsible and stupid person in the world. OMG... unbelievable. Of course the NRA is fighting to allow a blind person in Iowa to have a gun, so they obviously would object to a gun user being able to read, write, or distinguish a SQUIRREL FROM ANOTHER HUMAN BEING!!!!!
